Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing of prefabricated bathroom pods in a modular construction environment. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead and support a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget. This role is key to maintaining efficient workflows, upholding safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.

Core ResponsibilitiesProduction & Workflow Management

Manage daily production activities to meet output, quality, and timeline targets.
Oversee multiple production cells (e.g., plumbing, electrical, tiling, finishing) to optimise labour and equipment use.
Monitor material usage, minimise waste, and maintain continuous workflow.
Track KPIs including output rates, quality metrics, and rework levels; implement improvements accordingly.
Team Supervision & Development

Supervise and support operatives including joiners, plumbers, electricians, and finishers.
Set clear daily objectives and ensure team alignment with production goals.
Deliver on-the-job training and mentoring on quality, safety, and technical practices.
Assist with onboarding and developing new team members.
Quality & Compliance

Ensure each pod meets quality standards, technical drawings, and customer requirements.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to manage inspections and resolve non-conformances.
Conduct root cause analyses and lead corrective actions where needed.
Promote compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and build quality.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives and take part in improvement projects.
Promote innovation and best practices in modular construction techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Leadership or equivalent (desirable).
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or above (desirable).
Experience in modular construction or prefabrication (highly desirable).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and standard operating procedures.
